(Feb. 3, 2014)– Capital Square Realty Advisors, LLC announced today that Don Ferrari and William ‘Hugh’ Black have joined the company as senior vice presidents of sales, representing the West Coast and East Coast, respectively. They join Cory Guy in Southern California to complete Capital Square’s national sales team. The company welcomes the duo after completing approximately $100 million in acquisitions since its launch in December 2012.

With more than 50 years of experience in the financial services and investment industries, Ferrari brings extensive relationships in the broker-dealer community, where he will service and grow Capital Square’s selling group focused on DST investments for Section 1031 exchange investors. He joins Capital Square Realty Advisors from Preferred Apartment Communities, where he was a managing director. He previously served as senior regional vice president with a national broker-dealer, where he specialized in Section 1031 exchange investments for high net worth investors. Prior to this, Ferrari was senior vice president at Grubb & Ellis Securities, Inc., formerly NNN Capital Corp., a division of Triple Net Properties, where he and his team raised more than $500 million through the independent broker-dealer channel. Ferrari began his career at Dean Witter in San Francisco. Ferrari resides in northern California. He is a registered principal with FINRA and holds Series 1, 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
Black joins Capital Square Realty Advisors from Aztec Oil & Gas Inc., where he served as senior marketing division manager. He previously was senior regional vice president, Southeast, with a national broker-dealer, where he broke all previous records for his territory in raising capital for Section 1031 exchange investments. Prior to this, Black was a regional vice president in Tennessee and Kentucky for Wells Real Estate Funds, and president and owner of Investment Strategies Inc. He started his career in financial services as a registered representative in his home town of Nashville, Tenn. Black earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University and is a registered representative with FINRA, holding Series 1, 7 and 63 licenses.
